ATLANTA, GEORGIA
MLK JR. DRIVE REALIGNMENT
As part of the redevelopment surrounding Mercedes-Benz Stadium, Augusta Iron & Steel Works fabricated steel for the realignment of MLK Jr. Drive in downtown Atlanta. The project featured a bridge with a severe 400-foot radius design, requiring precision fabrication to support the roadway shift and surrounding infrastructure improvements.

GAINESVILLE, GEORGIA
BROWNS MEMORIAL BRIDGE
Augusta Iron & Steel Works fabricated structural steel for the replacement of the historic Browns Memorial Bridge over Lake Lanier. The project involved a new 1,400-foot-long structure replacing the original continuous through truss bridge built in 1956. AISW supplied approximately 1,917 tons of fabricated steel to support this major infrastructure improvement for the region.

ROCK HILL, SC
PANTHERS INTERCHANGE PALMETTO PARKWAY
This 214′ long by 127′ wide single-span bridge was originally built to provide access to the Carolina Panther’s new training and practice facility. The Prime Contractor won a Design-Build Institute of America – Southeast Region 2025 Award for this project. This bridge replaced our BMW project as the longest single-span bridge in the state.

COLUMBIA, SC
SC 277 OVERPASS
Augusta Iron & Steel Works fabricated structural steel for a bridge replacement project that replaced a structurally deficient box-girder bridge. The new structure features a tight radius and super-elevated design, spanning six interstate lanes and an acceleration ramp. AISW supplied approximately 805 tons of fabricated steel to support this major infrastructure improvement for the region.
