Since 1948, Augusta Iron & Steel Works has built its reputation on quality fabrication and trusted service. Founded by brothers Frank and Bob Dennis after their purchase of Lombard Iron Works in downtown Augusta, they continued a tradition of heavy fabrication for boilers, barges, and industrial buildings.

As infrastructure needs grew in the 1950s, Augusta Iron & Steel Works expanded into bridge fabrication, a focus that continues to define the company today. Over the decades, AISW has grown through multiple generations of family leadership, expanded operations to its Martinez, Georgia facility, and built a strong reputation for dependable work and long-standing customer relationships.

Today, Augusta Iron & Steel Works proudly serves customers throughout the Southeastern United States, primarily fabricating steel plate girders and beams for major bridge projects. With more than 75 years of experience, AISW remains committed to the same values it was founded on: quality, integrity, and personable service.
